Augmentt Announces Support for Legacy (Per User) MFA with CSP Integration 

Ottawa, Canada – June 26, 2024 – Augmentt, a leader in SaaS management solutions, is excited to announce the launch of its latest feature: support for Legacy (Per User) Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) with Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) integration. This new capability is designed to help Managed Service Providers (MSPs) manage and transition away from the soon-to-be-deprecated MFA method seamlessly. 

“Microsoft’s announcement of the removal of Legacy (Per User) MFA by September 2025 has created an urgent need for MSPs to adapt their security practices,” said Derik Belair, CEO of Augmentt. “Our latest feature supports this transition by providing seamless integration with Microsoft’s CSP, allowing MSPs to manage the existing MFA and easily migrate clients to Conditional Access Policies or Security Defaults.”

  • Works with Existing CSP Integration: Partners can benefit from this feature without needing to undergo re-integration or request new permissions & new partners will have this the moment they perform their CSP Integration and tenant import. 
  • Migration Planning: With the deprecation of Legacy MFA on the horizon, Augmentt provides MSPs with the best platform to identify tenants using Legacy MFA and migrate them using Augmentt to Conditional Access or Security Defaults.
